Michael Johnson is a renowned Acupuncturist who has been practicing Acupuncture for over 14 years. He is originally from Johnson City, Tennessee, and lived in East Tennessee until he was 24. Michael graduated from Tennessee Tech with honors in Psychology. After having his migraines helped with Chinese medicine, he decided to move to Seattle and learn Acupuncture at one of the top 3 universities in the country, Bastyr University.

Michael graduated from Bastyr with honors in 2009 and trained under skilled practitioners for two more years when he left school. He learned to specialize in Japanese Acupuncture, which is very gentle and almost painless. Michael and his wife moved to Fairbanks, Alaska, for six years and worked in a beautiful multidisciplinary clinic there.

During this time, Michael learned specialized allergy elimination techniques (NAET) and Orthopedic work under Matt Callison.

After Alaska, Michael owned a successful clinic in Salem, Oregon, for the next four years. But after all this time, he decided to return to the South.
Michael has had many specialties over the years. He treats allergies, migraines, physical injuries, addictions, and anxiety and depression. He also worked closely with a fertility specialist in Alaska and a fertility clinic in Oregon, helping with Breech presentation, IVF, and inducing labor.

Outside of his clinical work, Michael enjoys playing with his kids, working out at the gym, hiking, reading, and hosting the “Drunken Medizen” podcast with Naturopathic Doctor Ashley May, ND, in Kalispell, Montana.
