Evan Bussanich, L.Ac., is a seasoned practitioner and educator with over 20 years of expertise in herbal medicine, acupuncture, functional medicine, and classical homeopathy.

 

He graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine in 2010, having previously enriched his training and studies at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, Southwest Acupuncture College, and Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine. Evan has also trained and interned in rural village clinics in India, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in integrative and holistic healthcare. Additionally, he served as a faculty member at Daoist Traditions, reflecting his dedication to education and mentorship in the field.

 

In addition to his formal education, Evan has extensive training in Classical Homeopathy, Western and Ayurvedic herbal medicine, and functional medicine. He is the author of Recovering from Crohn's and Colitis: An Integrative Guide to Inflammatory Bowel Disease and specializes in integrative immunology, neuroendocrine conditions, autoimmune diseases, post-infectious inflammatory conditions (such as Long COVID, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Lyme disease), gastrointestinal health, and supportive care for cancer and chronic infections.

 

Evan’s acupuncture style is inspired by Japanese techniques, utilizing ultra-thin needles for a gentle yet highly effective treatment experience across a wide variety of conditions.
